Jason Bolen
Scenic Designer

Jason has designed scenery for over 200 productions, including 25 at PCPA. He holds an MFA from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. He enjoys nature and is passionate about travel.

Katie Fuchs-Wackowski
Resident Artist

Katie is a resident artist and choreographer at PCPA. She teaches Movement for Actors and Musical Theatre Ensemble in the conservatory. Her approach to movement is inspired by dance and also by her love of outdoor adventures like rock-climbing and white-water kayaking.

Abby Hogan
Scenic Charge Artist

Abby has been the Scenic Charge Artist at PCPA since 1990. She also occasionally gets to design scenery. She teaches Scene Paining in the technical theater conservatory.

Tim Hogan
Properties Director

Tim has been the Properties Director at PCPA since 1988. He has planned, shopped, constructed, and maintained props for hundreds of productions. He teaches Props for the conservatory.

Sara Curran Ice
Technical Theatre Program Coordinator/
Costume Designer

Sara is the Technical Theatre Program Coordinator and Resident Costume Designer. She teaches Portfolio and Professionalism classes, as well as classes in costume crafts. She has an MFA from UC Irvine and her expertise ranges from theatre to film and television.

Andrew Philpot
Resident Artist

Andy has been lucky enough to play Shakespeare for over forty years, in roles ranging from Hamlet to Francis Flute. He earned a MFA from the Academy for Classical Acting in DC, and considers Shakespeare his favorite playwright. He has appeared in over 100 productions as well as TV and anime. Andy teaches Shakespeare at PCPA.

Yusef Seevers
Resident Artist

Yusef Seevers is a resident artist at PCPA and instructor of movement and voice. He is from Detroit, Michigan, holds an MFA from Southern Methodist University, and has over 20 years of African Dance training and performance. He also works globally in health and wellness community building.

Cody Soper
Master Electrician / Lighting Designer

Cody is the Staff Master Electrician and Lighting Designer for PCPA. He teaches electrics and stage lighting. Cody is a graduate of PCPA and holds a Bachelor's of Art in Theatre - Design and Production from Arizona State University.

Erik Stein
Casting Director

Erik is the casting director and recruitment coordinator for PCPA. He has performed on Broadway, Off-Broadway, on National Tours, and with Tony Award winning regional theatres. He teaches Audition Techniques and the Business of Being an Actor for PCPA. He is the author of No Caution! A step-by-step guide to preparing auditions for universities, colleges, conservatories, and beyond.

Emily Trask
Resident Artist/
Literary Associate

Emily is an award-winning stage, film/tv, and voice actress, as well as a director, literary associate, script doctor, playwright, and published poet and essayist. She holds an MFA from Yale School of Drama and teaches first year Shakespeare at PCPA.

George Walker
Resident Artist

George is a graduate of PCPA. He has been working as a professional actor for 20 years and this is his eighth year teaching acting in the conservatory. He is originally from Santa Maria and has the pleasure of teaching students locally and nationally.

Michael Wilkins
Musical Director

Michael is the resident Music Director at PCPA. He holds a BA in Music Theory and Composition and a Masters in Choral Conducting. He teaches Music Fundamentals and Singing Techniques in the conservatory.

Lighting Director /
Resident Lighting Designer

'Z' is the Lighting Director and Resident Lighting Designer for PCPA. She teaches Lighting Technology in the conservatory. She holds an MFA from the University of Oklahoma. Her teaching philosophy is, "Learn by doing, not just talking about it."
