Writer, Catherine Johnson's, sunny and funny tale spins and sparkles into the ultimate feel-good show.

A mother. A daughter. Three possible dads. On the eve of her wedding, Sophie has secretly invited three men from her mother Donna's past back to the Greek island paradise they last visited 20 years ago, in a quest to discover the identity of her father.

Donna’s long-time friends from her past girl-group “Donna and the Dynamos” also arrive for the wedding to catch up and reminisce.

As past and present collide under Mediterranean breezes, the energy and charm of ABBA's songs propel this enchanting tale with love, laughter and friendship, and a trip down the aisle you'll never forget!

"PCPA has as midsummer hit with ABBA …a beautiful production, some hilarious choreography, and an excellent cast. …an unforgettable ensemble experience. …It's a winning combination and just the right thing for a midsummer night under the stars in Solvang."
    -Santa Barbara Independent
"A musical comedy set to the ebullient music of Swedish pop group, Abba, Mamma Mia! takes audiences on a toe-tapping journey to a wedding on a small island near Greece. …the audience brimmed with pleasure at the antics of wedding guests, the chorus of snorkelers dancing in their flippers, and the bubbly Swedish pop tracks so many people know. The actors drew on the energy of a packed house (consider getting your tickets ahead of time)…"
    -Broadway World
"Director Brad Carroll brings his considerable musical theater experience to the PCPA production. In some ways, it has the feel of an old-time musical comedy - silly, but sentimental. … As with most PCPA musical productions, the singing and dancing is excellent. … If you aren't already humming the tunes on the way in, you'll definitely be humming them for days afterward."
