Free Theatre Ticket Offer Extended
For Active Duty Military

The generosity of the families of Drs. Daniel and Ronald Ng continues with an extension of the free ticket offer for the remaining performances of PCPA's 2008 Season.

Active duty military, their spouses and dependents are invited to attend any PCPA performance for free of Godspell, The Heart's Desire, Ragtime, The Imaginary Invalid, Hot Mikado, and The Weir, (subject to available funds in this special account).

Godspell plays June 6 - July 27 in the Festival Theater, Solvang.
The Heart's Desire plays June 12 - 28 in the Marian Theatre, Santa Maria, then July 3 - 27 in rotating rep in Solvang.
Ragtime plays August 7 - 23 in Santa Maria, then August 1 - 24 in Solvang.
The Imaginary Invalid plays August 7 - 23 in the Marian Theatre, then August 28 - September 7 in the Festival Theater.
Hot Mikado plays August 29 - September 7 in Santa Maria's Marian Theatre then September 12 - 28 in the outdoor Festival Theater in Solvang.
The Weir plays in the Severson Theatre in Santa Maria from September 12 - October 5.

This offer is made possible by a charitable donation from the Ngs who created this special fund to be used initially for The Sound of Music as a way to thank the members of the military for the sacrifices they and their families are making on behalf of our country. The offer is now extended to include PCPA productions through the entire 2008 Season. This free ticket offer also extends to the Reserve and the California National Guard.

"We are absolutely delighted that the Ng family has invested their hearts and their resources in helping to provide a means by which the members of our community who are serving in the military can enjoy the art of the theatre," PCPA Artistic Director Mark Booher said.

To take advantage of this free ticket offer, one active duty military ID is required per family. Tickets may be ordered at the PCPA Box Office on the campus of Allan Hancock College or by phone at (805) 922-8313, Wednesday through Sunday from 1 to 7 p.m. Tickets ordered by phone will be held at the Box Office will-call window. An active duty ID will be required to claim the tickets.

Booher added, "The company at PCPA Theaterfest is humbled and genuinely touched by this generous gift. We're excited to do our part to thank those people in service and their families, who render a sacrifice no less dear, who do so much to support the very fabric of our liberties."
