Single tickets for the 45th Anniversary Season of PCPA Theaterfest productions that run from November 2008 to September 2009 go on sale to the public Wednesday, October 8 at noon. Single tickets are available at the box office, located on the Allan Hancock College campus at the Marian Theatre, by phone (805-922-8313), or online at www.pcpa.org.
Boasting a year-round season of seven main-stage productions and two play readings, PCPA continues to offer a line-up of outstanding work that has an ever broadening appeal. Beginning Oct. 8, tickets will be available for the entire season of plays in both Santa Maria and Solvang. Upcoming is the enduring and endearing holiday family favorite, Irving Berlin’s White Christmas. Also slated for the 2008-2009 season, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Les Misérables, The Music Man, The Spitfire Grill, and Distracted. In December, PCPA will announce the title of a Tony Award-winning musical that will play in both Santa Maria and Solvang next summer. And, still to be announced are the titles of two play readings set for the spring that will run in rotating rep in the Severson Theatre.
Besides single tickets, a number of season ticket – subscription– plans are available starting with a 4-play Choose Your Own series, and on up to an 8-play series. Subscribers get the best seats and lowest prices. And they’ll save big this season. By taking advantage of their low subscription ticket rate, they can attend the special engagement of Les Misérables for 30% off the regular ticket price; and purchase up to 2 additional tickets at their subscriber rate.
