So much has happened during the past fifty years and none of it would have been possible without your unwavering commitment. Students whose training you supported went on to become Emmy, Tony, and Academy Award winners, productions you attended earned artistic and national acclaim, and three magnificent theatres were all built because of your vision and investment.

As many of you know, the PCPA Foundation was created in 1995 with a singular mission: to ensure the future of PCPA by creating and growing an endowed fund. Just as you put money in savings and invest for your future, the Foundation, through your generosity, has done the same for PCPA’s future -- growing the investments to over $2.5million currently. Annually, 5% of the endowment is distributed to PCPA to supplement current operating funds it receives from Allan Hancock College and from other donations. As the endowment fund grows, the 5% grows proportionally. Your gifts have a profound and lasting impact on the artistry and training at PCPA by ensuring a continuing means of support for the Conservatory program
In addition, after over 20 years of evolution, we embarked upon discussions with the College to return, in a sense, to our roots: growing and sustaining the endowment. As a result, PCPA management, its Marketing Department and the College’s new Advancement Office will assume responsibility for day to day development needs of the PCPA program while we refocus on the endowment.
To that end, we ask for your continued support of the Foundation and the growth of the endowment through your continued gifts via planned giving, legacy gifts, monthly contributions or one-time gifts to the Endowment Fund. Your contributions to Foundation operating costs are also key to continued endowment growth.
