Text donations now accepted by PCPA

Texting a donation is now available to PCPA supporters. Simply text the word, PCPA, to phone number 85944 to make a $10.00 donation. You will receive a confirming text back to which you reply “yes.” $10.00 text donations can be made up to three times a month. Your gift to PCPA will show up on your next phone statement…with our thanks! Text donations is made possible through a grant from the Santa Barbara Foundation.

Texting is just one more way in which PCPA supporters can help the Central Coast’s only professional resident theatre company continue producing exemplary productions and training the next generation of theatre professionals. The PCPA “Support Us” web page details other methods of giving including online donations, cash donations, corporate matching gifts, donations of stocks and bonds, planned giving, and in-kind gifts. As with most nonprofit theatre groups, ticket revenue only accounts for about half of the budget. Therefore, donations from foundations, corporations, and generous individuals are vital to PCPA.

Donations help keep our ticket prices low, provide scholarships to students and interns, allow us to offer discounted tickets to student matinees, and help underwrite the cost of producing touring shows presented by PCPA’s Education and Outreach.

Now making a donation is just a few key strokes away on your mobile phone – text PCPA to 85944.
