Your gifts have a profound and lasting impact on the artistry and training at PCPA by ensuring a continuing means of support for the Conservatory program.
History
Since its founding in 1995, PCPA Foundation has been wholly dedicated to the raising of funds to support PCPA. The Foundation board is made up of dedicated professionals and philanthropists who work throughout the year supporting PCPA.
Achievement
One of the proudest achievements of the Foundation is the establishment of the PCPA Endowment Fund, which currently stands at $2.5 million and generates an annual distribution of nearly $125,000 per year for PcPA programs. Annually, 5% of the endowment is distributed to PcPA to supplement current operating funds it receives from Allan Hancock College and from other donations. As the endowment fund grows, the 5% grows proportionally.
Mission
With a simple mission 'to ensure the future of PCPA,' we invite you to come alongside with your generous gifts, via planned giving, legacy gifts, monthly contributions or one-time gifts to the Endowment Fund. Your contributions to Foundation operating expenses support the work of PCPA.

How You Can Help… Pledge Your Support
Your donations are put to work supporting the exemplary training in the shops, in the studios, and on the main stages.
Leave a Legacy
Help to sustain one of the finest regional theatre companies in the country by providing a gift from your estate.
Continue the Tradition
Our enviable years of success have only been possible through the dedication and talents of people like you. Come join the cast of our highly valued volunteers.
PCPA is the only resident, professional theatre company on the Central Coast. Since 1964, the company has produced nearly 600 mainstage productions while graduating over 6,000 students.
Training
PCPA's conservatory is an intensive two-year training program. Through a challenging blend of studio and shop work, showcases, and mainstage productions, PCPA's resident artists mentor each student in preparation for a career in professional theatre.
Outreach
The Education and Outreach Program brings the experience of professional live theatre to schools through onsite performances and workshops which are literature based, age specific, and explore themes of social and cultural relevance to the community. This program also coordinates student matinees at the Marian Theatre, summer drama camps for younger children and teenage youths interested in performing onstage.
