David R Molina
David R. Molina (Composer & Sound Designer) is a composer, musician, producer, sound artist/designer/engineer, and instrument inventor for the performing arts, multimedia, and music productions since 1996. His work addresses social justice issues, and he often collaborates with marginalized communities.
Recent Credits: Memnon (Classical Theater of Harlem & The Getty Villa); The XIXTH and El Borracho (The Old Globe); Hotter Than Egypt (DCPA), December: A Love Years in the Making, Real Women Have Curves (Alley Theatre); Twelfth Night, King Lear (St. Louis Shakespeare Festival). He is the original composer and sound designer for Quixote Nuevo, and tours with the show since 2018. His piece The Long Walk Home, Act 1 premiered in 2023, and Act 2 will premiere in 2027 (Brava Theater). Resident Artist: NAKA, Human Shakes, La Lengua, La Mezcla.
