Josafath Reynoso
Josafath Reynoso is a Mexico-born scenic designer with over 25 years of international experience. His award-winning designs have been featured in Off-Broadway productions, LORT theatres, and international venues across Latin America, Europe, and Asia. Reynoso received the 2023 Robert L. Tobin Director-Designer Prize from OPERA America, the 2017 World Stage Design Gold Medal, and the 2015 USITT Scenic Design Award.
He leads the Scenic Design MFA Program at the University of Texas at Austin and is an advocate for global arts equity through his roles with USITT and Red Escénica Migrante. He also serves as Founder and Chief Editor of SKENE.pub, a digital magazine on performance and design.
